The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized National Workshop on Kashmiri Velvet Embroidery on 19.10.2023. In this workshop students explored materials and techniques. He oriented various types of embroidery techniques that Kashmiri craftsmen use. He taught various Kashmir embroidery designs including floral designs, animal designs, and hunting designs.
Outcome of the Event: Students experience colorful embroidery on different types of apparel and fabric – Crewel Fabrics and Shawls.
