To prepare graduate capable in all phases of software development, possess a firm understanding of hardware technologies, have the strong mathematical background necessary for scientific computing, and be sufficiently well versed in general theory to allow growth within the discipline as it advances.
  4. To prepare graduates to assume leadership roles by possessing good communication skills, the ability to work effectively as team members, and an appreciation for their social and ethical responsibility in a global setting.

About the Department

The Department offers two Programs

  • B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • B.Sc. Internet of Things

B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning is an undergraduate program with advanced learning solutions imparting knowledge of advanced innovations like machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

 This Program is best suited for students seeking to build world-class expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and emerging technologies which help to grow careers in the upcoming technological era.

This Curriculum designed to enable students to build intelligent machines, software, or applications with a cutting-edge combination of machine learning and Artificial Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, Genetic Algorithms, Fuzzy Logic and Systems, Natural Language Processing.

B.Sc. Internet of Things

B.Sc. Internet of Things provides students with a comprehensive curriculum, industry-driven focus, state-of-the-art infrastructure, experienced faculty, research opportunities and industry exposure. These factors contribute to a holistic learning experience and prepare students for successful careers in the dynamic field of IoT.

The scope of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is expanding rapidly, offering immense potential for various industries and creating numerous career opportunities. IoT refers to the network of interconnected devices and objects that collect and exchange data, enabling seamless communication and automation. 

Infrastructure

The department has well-equipped specialized laboratory facilities like Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, Programming in Logic, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition, Deep Neural Networks, Natural Language Processing, Web Application Development, Big Data and Analytics, and Image and Speech Processing , IoT development kits, sensor networks, cloud computing resources, and other necessary tools and technologies. These resources enable students to gain practical experience.

Student Support

The students are encouraged to participate in Hackathons / Projects / Internships to improve their practical knowledge. The department also organizes regularly co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of students such as seminars, workshops, group discussions, etc. The department imparts specialized training to students to pursue their career in core and other IT related streams through various skill development activities.
