Mr. V. Shanmugam, Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology along with Biotechnology students [Ms. Aparna K.V.M, Ms. Remya. R, (II PG), Ms. Preethi. R, Ms. Thahira Thasneem, Ms. Pradeepa. (III UG)] actively participated in inciting basic science attitude in Bioscience students at Government Higher Secondary, Kullathupalayam, Coimbatore on 09.7.2019.
During the programme we offered Hands on Training, Career guidance, and Minor Investigation Projects to the school students. The students learned certain techniques like volumetric titration, Handling of Microscopes, various staining techniques and observation of microorganisms etc. We collected feedback from participants. Students, Teachers and Head Master appreciated our service and expecting these types of scientific activities in forthcoming year for a day. Head Master insisted us to organize a science exhibition in their campus, which will be officially inaugurated by Chief Educational Officer, Coimbatore during next month
