The APPLE Association was inaugurated on 15-10-2020 through the online platform Google Meet at 02.00 pm. Ms.G.Vasunthara Devi , Secretary , welcomed the gathering. Dr.K.Mythili Gnanapriya, Controller of Examinations, Nehru Arts and Science College delivered the presidential address. Dr.K.Reena , Assistant Professor, introduced the chief guest.
The resource person delivered the inaugural address on “Role of Mathematics in real life”. He started the session with the applications of Mathematics in day to day life. The concepts include various areas in mathematics like modern algebra, complex analysis, Applied Mathematics and Lay Man. Application of Mathematics in sports include various games like basket ball, ice skating and so on were explained through video lecture. Ms. M.Nagarathinam, Assistant Professor proposed vote of thanks.
Outcome of the event:
The students learn the applications of Mathematics in various fields and the importance of Mathematics in our day to day life.
