The session begun by giving the introduction about IP Address and Network layers. The presentation session gives a concise knowledge of WireShark platform and how it is used for network troubleshooting, analysis, software and communications protocol development, and education. WireShark can also be used to intercept and analyze encrypted TLS traffic.
Outcome of the Event:
This workshop gives a basic knowledge of network interface controllers into network troubleshooting. It aims to understand network traffic analyzer software analyze network traffic in real time. WireShark comes with graphical tools to visualize the statistics. The main focus of this tool is observing the data traffic within a network. This made it easy to spot general trends and to present findings to less-technical management. The overall session was very informative and interactive.
Feblentina is an inter-collegiate technical symposium and Savishkar is an intra departmental technical symposium. Around 200 external participants and 300 internal participants participated in the event. 10 events being conducted on both the days 11/02/2020 and 12/02/2020.

The FENIX Association was inaugurated on 10-7-2019 at NIET ‘B’ Block Seminar hall. Dr.N.Kavitha, HoD welcomed the gathering. Dr.B.Anirudhan has presided over the function. The chief guests were introduced by Mrs. Juliet Rozario Assistant Professor and Mr.R.Pranav Kumar Vice chairman FENIX Association. Dr. R.Vijayaraghavan, Dean- Biosciences and Dr.V.Chitraa, Dean – CS & IT has felicitated the gathering.
Invited Talk Session
The chief guest delivered a special address on “Opportunities in IT industries” and “Life Skills” and the session was more interactive. He started the session with the discussion on the technologies which are currently in the trend and the discussion extended about humanity and bonding then he elaborated his speech about the six successes in life and insisted the students to have commitments and courage to face problems and be confident and more creative. He quoted that “Live your dreams.” He also noted that success will not come on its own it comes when we work hard. Followed by the chief guest, the guest of honour shared some of his learning experiences in his college life and asked the students to prepare for their placements in the way of group effort to improve their talents.
