The School of Lifesciences, Department of Microbiology, conducted a session titled
“The Need of IPR for Lifesciences”
as part of the Adjunct Professor Series in the forenoon of March 7, 2024. Dr. M. Thangavel, Dean & Head – SoLS, the program’s convenor, greeted the attendees, and the resource person was Dr. Hariprasanth Lakshmanan, an Assistant Professor in the Biochemistry Division of the JSS AHER School of Lifesciences Otty. He gave an illustrated discussion on the types of Intellectual Property Rights, Trademarks, and Copyrights during this event. He discussed numerous copyright-related incidents with the students. A total of 60 students are benefited.
