The Department of Computer Applications Organized a Refresher Programme for Non-Teaching staff on Pranayama – Conscious Breathing for Health on 29th May 2021 at 5:00 pm. Mrs. Raynukaazhakarsamy, Assistant Professor, BCA Department ,Nehru Arts and Science College was the resource person.
Outcome of the Event
The NASC non-teaching staff have participated and got an idea about to pranayama connects our body & soul. The session went on very interactive and was informative to the staff.
The Department of Computer Application has organized a Webinar on International Webinar on “Robotic and Virtual Reality” on 30/11/2020 in Google Meet. The Resource person was Mr. Harsha Kikkeri, Founder & CEO, HoloSuit Pte Ltd, Singapore. Mr. D. Sakthivel, HoD i/c has welcomed the gathering. The resource person has talked about Holosuit and the field of Robotics and Virtual Reality. He spoke about the various applications of VR and Robotics one among is Holosuit which is a Full Body motion tracking and capturing Cloud Connected & Board Processing with BLE and Wifi Unity Plugin-Uniform interface to get body joint Data Wearable Suit & Compatible with all VR/AR/MR/RR Work with All devices of Windows, iOS, Android systems. Mrs. A. Kalaivani, Assistant Professor has proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The participants from various colleges and students of BCA have participated and got an idea about “Robotics and Virtual Reality” such as VR applications in robotics used in Holosuit as Medical robotics, Motion planning and control Human-robot interaction (HRI), Multi-agent system. The session went on very interactively and was informative to the students.
