School of Commerce and Social Sciences , Department of Social Work has Organised an Award Function on the topic “Outstanding Contributor Award in Social Work 2022”. Her Excellency Dr.Tamilisai Soundarajan , Governor of Telangana was the chief guest. The best Social Work Personalities were identified from Tamilnadu and Kerala based upon their contribution towards the betterment of society and they were honoured with Awards based on their work. The chief guest addressed the gathering the importance of education and we have to utilise the available resources. This function was organised in the moment to celebrate ‘World Social Worker Day’ on 15.03.22.
