I M.Sc. Biotechnology students and two faculties (Dr. P. Senthilkumar and Dr. R Selva kesavan) from Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore have visited Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) Coimbatore on 7.03.2023. Plant tissue culture is an important techniques using all types of plant materials for the conservation and mass cultivation. They are culturing a wide variety of tissue culture plants for the farmers. Also they are following tree breeding methods and genetic transformation methods for the cultivation of tree plants. Finally, the students visited Gas museum.
