The Resource Person Miss. R. Priya, Advocate, Criminal and family law started her session narrating live incidents about Gender equity rights. She explained different acts like Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005; the Commission of Sati (Prevention) Act, 1987; the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013; the Indecent Representation of Women and she elaborates on POCKSO act. She elucidated teasing the women will lead to severe punishment. She also insisted that no society can develop without providing equal opportunities to both men and women.

The students gained knowledge on legal rights and different acts available to safeguard the women .
