The School of Life science of Nehru Arts and Science College organized Inaugrual Function for Intercollegiate and Inter Department Cultural meet on 26th Aug 2021. Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, NASC Presided over the session. Dr.R. Vijayaraghavan, Dean, School of Life science welcomed the gathering. Udayakumar Lal, founder of Sapthaswara nrutha kala kshethre, was the chief guest.

Outcome of the Event
There were 32 participants from various departments of Nehru Arts and Science college and 97 participants from reputed colleges such as Amritha Vishwa Vidya peetham, Shastra University, Sri Jeyandra Saraswathi Maha Vidyalaya college of Arts and Science, Chethana College of media and performing arts, Nehru college of pharmacy,Bishop Herber College, Trichy, Nehru Institute of Information Technology, Nehru college of Management, Vimala College, Kerala college…..etc are some. Solo song. Solo dance, Instrumental Music, Mimicry. Monoact and Mime were the competitions for both the Inter – Department and Intercollegiate Cultural Fest.
Mr. Dixith K A of II Micro Nano under the guidance of Dr Saranya N, Department of Biotechnology has been awarded with certificate from Asian Book of Records and Indian Book of Records for his contribution on Maximum authors contributing for a book on COVID – 19 AND ITS IMPACT for his chapter on Biomedical Nanotechnology on the topic “Study of Caffeine on its Impact on the Genomics of Fast Metabolic and Slow Metabolic Individuals : A Comparative Study With Nutrigenomics”. He was also awarded with Memento of Honor and Memento of Appreciation for the same event.
