Department of Social Work has conducted an Extension Activity – Cleaning Campaign on 29.7.22 at Mangarai, Anakatti Forest range. Mr.Anbukarnan , Forester of Ankatti forest Range and Mr.Ganakumar, Joint Secretary of Sangamam Voluntary Organisation has presided over the Activity. They insisted about the importance of preserving wild life and our responsibility to safeguard wild animals. This activity was carried out to observe International Tigers Day and Upcoming Elephant Day. The students learnt about the importance of saving wild life. And during the cleaning campaign the students have gathered around 200 kg of waste bottles in the Elephant crossing paths.
