The Department organized Career Guidance Programme on Career Goals for Fashion Designer on 20.01.2023 for 51 Participants and Mr. Damodharan, Proprietor, D M Garments, P N Road, Tirupuracted as resource person. He highlighted that the field of fashion designing is one of the most glamorous, intriguing and astonishing career options of this generation. He also included the love for designing clothes is just not enough to be a good designer as the competition is highly fierce, but one needs the right guidance, expertise and experience to become a successful fashion designer, as the skills can be polished with the right training.
Outcome of the Event: The programme gave an idea on the craft of fashion designing and made the basics very clear and building a foundation which is strong.
