Guest Lecture

A Guest Lecture was given to II year students of Micro, MicroNano, English, Physics, Bio Chem, Bio Tech & Viscom. Ms Subhadra Satheesan (Principal Luminous College, Malappuram) on 10/02/2020 gave a guest lecturing at Viscom Theatre. Mr. Tomcy T Kadavil (HoD ,Dept of Malayalam) welcomed the Resource Person and the gathering. Resource Person explained about the importance of reading and syllabus oriented Drama – Lanka Lakshmi. And also she explained about the Legendary character Ravana’s heroic version. The students interacted with the resource person and raised their doubts on character portrayal of “Lakshmana” and “shoorpanaka” in “Mahabharatha”. Resource person also explained about the importance and prominence of dialogues written by C.N.Sreekandan Nair to students. In that he has portayed Ravana as a heroic character. After the session Ms.Varsha (II Micro Nano) proposed vote of thanks.

Outcome of the Event
The Drama can help students to develop tolerance and empathy in their life.

Extention Activity

Mrs.N.Rajani Assistant professor Department of Malayalam conducted Extention activity on the topic of Career guidance for M.Nanchappa Chettiar Metric Higher Secondary School students in Muthalipalayam, Neelambur on 1.10. 2019 from 10 .00 am.to1 2.00 p.m . Students got ideas for their higher studies. It help students to making tough decision get in through time of crisis, guidance of how to choose, What to choose, Better understanding for the student at the end of the program .
