The School of Creative Sciences, Department of Visual Communication organized a one-day seminar in celebration of World Radio Day, focusing on Community Radio. Dr. Sridhar Ramnkutty, a pioneering figure in Community Radio from Chennai, served as the resource person. The seminar illuminated the transformative potential of grassroots media in nurturing local engagement and empowerment. The resource person provided insights into initiating community radio stations and their contributions to community development, including discussing the legal aspects involved. Students enthusiastically participated in the event, actively engaging with the resource person to seek clarification on various aspects.
