The Department of Microbiology conducted World Cancer Day on 3.02.2023 at the PG laboratory on the theme “Cancer and its consequences”. Ms. Poornima Kumar and Mr. Surya Suresh Counsellor Coimbatore Cancer Foundation acted as Resource persons. The Resource persons discussed about the topic- Cancer and its Consequences. The experts gave an outline of cause of cancer, carcinogenic agents, consequences treatment and prevention. World Cancer Day has grown into a positive movement for everyone, everywhere to unite under one voice to face one of our greatest challenges in future.
