The Department of Costume Design and Fashion and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) has organised a Workshop on “Scandinavian Art “on 09.11.2021. Ms.Vasantha, Instructor, Pidilite Industries Arts & Hobby Ideas, Chennai was the Resource Person. She oriented on Scandinavian Art, its history importance, application and demonstrated a sample with six colours and a chosen motif. Scandinavian Art gives a creative mind as well as relaxation. The aim of this aesthetic work is to favour abstraction over detailed design, simplicity and functionality. It is often characterised by minimal styling and muted colour palettes, which come together to deliver a popular art form.
Outcome
The participants gained knowledge on the application of various media in Scandinavian Art with colours.
