The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organised Workshop on “Mandala Design ” on 02.08.2021. Ms.Vasantha, Instructor , Pidilite Industries Arts & Hobby Ideas, Chennai was the Resource Person. She oriented on Mandal Design, its history importance, application and demonstrated a sample with six colours and a chosen motif. Mandala designs give a creative mind as well as relaxation. The aim of this aesthetic work is to favour abstraction over detailed design.
Outcome
The participants gained knowledge on the application of various media in the making of traditional or innovative Mandala Design with colours.
