The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organised Two day Workshop on “LOW POLYGON& GONDWAN TATTOO ARTS ” on 03.02.2021 & 04.02.2021 for 35 Participants (including staffs and students of Nehru Arts and Science College) and Ms.Vasantha, Instructor , Pidilite Industries ,Arts & Hobby Ideas ,Chennai. On day 1, she oriented about Gondwan Tattoo arts, its history importance and application, She demonstrated the sample with two colours &chosen motif. On day 2 she oriented about Low Polygon to create a 3D model. The objects created have few faces and few varieties. The aim of this aesthetic work is to favour abstraction over detailed design.
Outcome
The participants gained knowledge on application of various media, and the diverse conceptual modes available with direct painting from nature or with alternative approaches to the making of traditional or innovative two dimensional images of Low Polygon and Gondwan Tattoo arts.
