Event Description:
The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized Workshop on “Basic and Advanced Fashion Illustration” for four days on 11.07.2024, 12.07.2024, 15.07.2024 & 16.07.2024 for 73 Participants and Mr. S. Elangovan, DFA., PDFA., Retd- Chief Artist and Photographer, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore acted as the resource person. He explained about fashion drawing techniques such as colour and textural application, as well as developing design and presentation styles, and expanding skills to include advanced figure illustration, grouping and angled poses, and the use of large-scale illustration and range development.
Outcome of the Event:
The program helped the students to gain an understanding and improve confidence and skills in, drawing the fashion figure and experimenting with different media.
