Webinar The Power of Quantum Computing :22/06/2021

The department has organized Webinar in the title “The Power of Quantum Computing”. Dr. N. Kavitha, Associate Professor and Head welcomed the gathering. Dr.B. Anirudhan Principal presided over the function and appreciated the department for organizing webinar on recent topics. The Resource Person Mr. MANI BHARATHI K, M. Tech. in Cyber Security, CEO and Managing Director, C-SUITE TECH LABS stated that Moores Law is one of the basic key point of introducing Quantum Computing. He also stated that every 18 months the chip or transistor is getting reduced but that can be done only to a limit there comes the invention of quantum computing which deals only with atoms rather than chips. Outcome of the Event:

The participants came to know the various concepts of Quantum Computing and the difference between quantum computing and classical computing. They also learnt the five key concepts of quantum computing and different quantum gates. The small demonstration on the tool motivates them to learn quantum computing.
