The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized a Guest lecture on “Insights on Ready to wear industry &Skill for Successful Entrepreneurs ” on 14.6.2021 for 65 Participants (including staffs and students of NASC and various other colleges) and Mr. Mr. S. Shandu Mohamed, Head Designer, New Product Development Trico Global Traders, acted as the Resource person.
He elaborated on the role of an entrepreneur and his skills to communicate, sell, focus, learn, and strategize. He added that the ability to continuously learn is not just a key entrepreneurial skill, but also a very valuable life skill. A sound strategy based on inherent business sense and skills is key in Fashion Industry. This lecture presented a general idea of Fashion Communication, Sales, Focus, Ability to Learn, Business Strategy, Entrepreneurial Education, and Career Outlook.

The participants gained insights about the Retails, Ready to wear, Mass Market , Brand Ideas ,Creativity, Sense of Style, Strong Sewing Skills, Knowledgeable of Current Fashion Trends.
