The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized online “Virtual Industrial Visit” on 28-07-2021. Mr.Manikandan N, Assistant Professor, Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Visited to Rivisa Apparels and explained the Process of Fabric Manual Spreading, Manual Marker Panning, Cutting with Straight knife cutting machine, Band knife cutting Machine, Round Knife Cutting machine process and Garment Construction Sequences, Button Fixing, Button Hole making Machine Process, Collar Fusing in Automatic Machine Process. 40 students (II & III B.Sc., CDF) & 4 Staffs have participated in the Virtual Industrial Visit.
Outcome
The Participants have gained Knowledge on the function carried out in garment manufacturing industry.
