The BIS – Standardbred Student’s Club of Nehru Arts and Science College was inaugurated on 26.05.2022. As a part of the club activity, The Department of Food Science and Nutrition and Standard Students Club, in association with the Bureau of Indian Standards Coimbatore chapter, have organized a training program on standard writing and Standard writing competition for the club members. Mr Rajeev, Promotion Officer, BIS-Coimbatore chapter, conducted the training program and competition. The written standards were evaluated, and the best standards (First, Second, Third and Fourth) were awarded the cash prize.
Outcome of the Event: The club members of the standard student’s club were ignited with the knowledge of standard writing procedures and the students actively participated in the standard writing competitions and won prizes.
