School of Commerce organized an Industrial Visit for Second year B.Com (CA) students to Panduranga Coffee Pvt LTD, Chikmagalur from 06-02-2024 to 10-02-2024. 80 students and 2 Staff members were a part of this Industrial visit. Deepak, owner of the coffee industry, interacted with the students and explained to them about the coffee industry starting from the history of coffee to different types of coffee present. Students also got an opportunity to visually analyse the different steps in coffee making starting from the plant material extraction to packaging. The sophisticated machines used in coffee powder processing which gives the company its brand name were also presented. Overall, it was a trip of adventure and great learning
