Rural Flavours, Urban Income :Cooking Chat for Sustainable Livelihood

Department of Social Work has organised an extension activity on 31.08.24 on a topic ” Rural Flavours, Urban Income :Cooking Chat for Sustainable Livelihood” in association with Department of Catering Science and Hotel Management. The aim of program is to impart some cioking skills to rural unemployed women and men to make themselves an self employed and income generators. Asst. Prof Mr. Sathish Kumar from CS & HM has acted as resource peraon and taught different varities of chat items to Rottigoundanur village people. Nearly 25 rural men and women participatednin the programme and learnt the activities. This program was organised by Dr. P. Nathiya and Ms. K. Merlin Jenefer as part of model village inititative.
