On March 3, 2023, under the supervision of two faculties from each department, students from the I B.A. in Criminology and I B.Sc. in Forensic Science visited the Observation Home Coimbatore. The social worker gave information about what an observation home is, how they must treat the juveniles, and how the workings are now at the observation home. The juveniles and the officers participated in an interactive session with the students.
OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
The Observation Home is part of the Criminal Justice System. Students were made aware of the workings of the observation home and the juvenile rehabilitation programmes that they provided.
