Inauguration of the nutrition month celebration NASC: Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Nehru Arts and Science College, inaugurated the Nutrition month celebrations on 21.09.2022. Dr. S. Kowsalya, Registrar, Avinashilingam institute for women, deemed to be university was the chief guest. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College and facilitated by Dr. K Mythili Gnanapriya, CoENehru Arts and Science College. The chief guest has given an insight on the benefits of millets and inaugurate the product expo of the students.
Outcome of the Event: Students were sensitised on the nutritional benefits of the minor millets and was also encouraged to enter the field on new product development. The students were also made aware about benefits of minor millets in their diet
