Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore organised a National Webinar on 27.08.2021 on the topic “Challenges in NEP – 2020”. Dr. Kawaljit Kaur, Principal, Mata Gujri Khalsa College, Jalandhar, Punjab acted as the Resource Person. The objective for organizing this program was to understand National Education Policy 2020 and the existing challenges in executing NEP in Institutions. Dr. Kawaljit Kaur briefly elucidated the glimpse of NEP 2020. She emphasized on the teaching standard and gave certain guidelines for standardizing the content. She analysed the pros and cons of the policy and suggested various points related to the successful implementation of NEP.
Outcome of the Event:
The session was a formal training to help us visualize pedagogy for college and university educators. It emphasized on establishing multidisciplinary institutions. Funding and establishment of these institutions were also discussed in order to facilitate the concept.
