The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized National Handloom Day Drawing Competition on “Handloom -Our Heritage” on 07.08.2021 for 25 Participants students participated. The competition made the students explore their ability in expressing handloom weaver’s tireless work and also the immensity of our tradition that is in amazement of the breadths and brushes.
Outcome:
The competitions instill a sense of pride in handloom, its past, and future potential. The National Handloom Day created awareness on handlooms.
