The Department of Food Science and Nutrition organized one day National Conference on “TRANSDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH IN MILLETS FOR FOOD SECURITY AND AGRICULTURE SUSTAINABILITY” on 27th September 2023. Mr.S.Sundar from Tan millets, Dr.Anuradha Narala from IIMR, Hyderabad and Dr.Shweta Khandelwal, senior advisor of Nutrition Jhpigeo, Delhi were the chief guest of the function. They nurtured the students on the importance of millets in our daily life. 300 students including participant’s from other colleges were benefited from the program.
