The Madras Regiment Centre Wellington was visited by students from the I B.A. in Criminology and I B.Sc. in Forensic Science on March 4, 2023, with the assistance of two faculty members from each department. The soldier in charge provided details on the Madras Regiment’s history as well as historical information about the weapons they used in battle and the displayed medals.
OUTCOME OF THE EVENT:
The Madras Regiment is the Indian Army’s oldest infantry regiment. The history of the Madras Regiment and its contributions to our country were understood by the students.
