Adv. Mr. G. Arun Krishnan gave a lecture on Gender equality. He stated that it is a fundamental principle of human rights that advocates for equal rights, opportunities, and treatment of individuals of all genders. He added that, Gender Equality strives to eliminate discrimination and bias based on gender, creating a more just and equitable society and portrayed various laws on IPC, CRPF and Constitution of India. He mentioned that achieving gender equality is not only a moral imperative but also essential for social and economic development and it involves addressing gender disparities in areas like education, employment, politics, and family life. Efforts to promote gender equality require legislative, policy, and societal changes to empower individuals and create a more inclusive world for everyone.
