An international webinar on “Nutrigenomics and Personalized Nutrition: New insight in Disease Prevention and Cure” was organized by the Department of Food Science and Nutrition on 13.05.2020. Dr. Vimal Karani, Associate Professor, University of Reading, UK was the resource person. About 127 participants including students, research scholars and faculties from various institutions from different parts of Southern India were participated in the webinar.
Outcome of the Event: Students were able to identify the new emerging field -Nutrigenomics and Personalized nutrition in the disease prevention and cure.
