Health and wellness camp cum exhibition was organized by department of food science and nutrition on behalf of diet care center at A block lobby on 24/03/2022. The students and faculties of NASC participated in the camp and various health parameters have been assessed and students have displayed different healthy innovative new products in exhibition. Among 145 participants 65.5% were identified with normal weight, 20.7% with overweight and 13.8% were obese and further planned to take necessary steps to keep a regular follow up for the interested persons.
Outcome of the Event: The nutritional status of the students and faculties has been assessed by the trained students and faculties of the department of Food Science and Nutrition and provided the required counselling and diet guidelines.
