The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized Gender Equity Programme on “National Policy for the Empowerment of Women” on 20.09.2023.She explained about violence against women, physical and mental, whether at domestic or societal levels, including those arising from customs, traditions or accepted practices shall be dealt with effectively with a view to eliminate its incidence.
Outcome of the Event: Students were oriented on women–friendly personnel policies which were drawn up to and encourage women to participate effectively in the developmental process.
