School of Commerce has organized an Extension Activity for women Trainees from adopted villages in Tirumalayampalayam on 30.05.2024. Dr. S. Jayapriya, Dean, School of Creative Science and Dr.S. Saraswathi, Dean Academic Affairs, Nehru Arts and Science College acted as resource persons of the event. The program’s goal is to empower female candidates by giving them useful skills and improving their employability, financial independence, and self-assurance through tailoring. The women trainees from adopted village in Tirumalayampalayam.The village was inspired by the new fashions and tailoring techniques. Beyond a basic tailoring session, the trainees received skill improvement, and the participants became more enthusiastic and expressed an interest in creating creative garments.
