Brief about speaker: Dr. N. Saranya, Assistant professor, Department of Biotechnology, Nehru arts and science College, Coimbatore is a Bioentrepreneur. She is a Biotechnologist and specialist in Plant Biotechnology. She is concentrating on genes having specific or important functions in microbes and plants. Her fields of research concentrates on genes having specific and important function in plants and animals. She is also experience in Protein function, enzyme formulation from plants and microbes. She has published more than 10 papers in International Journals and Scopus Index, 2 book chapters and a book. She has also visited 4 countries for presenting her research work and organised International Conference. She is the convener for EDC, production unit. Dr. N. Saranya is a CEO of the Company ENRICH. She bagged many national and International awards. She has visited Countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Received P. K. DAS Best Faculty award by Nehru Group of Institutions. Best Women Junior faculty in Nature Science Foundation – 2019 ¬ Young women Entrepreneur award by National Entrepreneurship Development – 2019. Appreciation award for her International Patent and Indian Patent at Bharathiyar University.
