The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized National
Education Day 2023 Seminar on
“Education and its Importance”
on 11.11.2023
for 30 Participants and Dr. S. Jayapriya acted as the resource person. She explained about the significance of the day and told that National Education Day is observed on November 11 every year since 2008 to give the
respect to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad who was the first education minister of independent India
and served the nation from August 15, 1947, to February 2, 1958.The Importance of National
Education Policy 2023was also highlighted by her.
Outcome of the Event: Students’ gained awareness about National Education Day and National
Education Policy 2023.
