The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized an Awareness Programme on “Disaster Risk Reduction Plan 2023” on 18.12.2023 for 57 Participants. Resource Person Dr.S.Jayapriya, Dean, School of Creative Sciences gave a awareness to Students were given as on the impacts of disasters through the practices regarding disaster Preparedness, Management, Prevention, Mitigation The advances in the humanitarian response to public health, the changes currently faced in managing natural disasters and armed conflict.
Outcome:
The Students gained the Knowledge about roles and responsibilities in improving the effectiveness of Disaster Management in India.
