The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized a Career Guidance Programme for School Students on 28.03.2022, for 12th Standard students of Kids Park Matric Higher Secondary School, Pollachi, Goverment Higher Secondary School ,Kinathukeduvu on the topic “Job Opportunities in Textiles”. Ms.D,Suryaprabha, Assistant Professor, CDF was the Resource Person. The session gave Career counselling aid to students make the right choice of subjects for their higher education and careers. Career guidance is a type of counselling that intends to help students in determining the best career route for them based on their academic and employment decisions. It is a descriptive and analytical evaluation of one’s knowledge, abilities, information, and experience in order to determine professional alternatives.
