The P.G & Research department of Social work observed the world Alzheimer’s day awareness Programme on 23/09/2021 at T.M Palayam, Coimbatore. Dr. P. Nathiya, Associate Professor, gave the orientation about Alzheimer’s disease, causes and symptoms with suitable examples. The villagers asked many doubts related to the disease. Most of the villagers not aware of the disease. Mr.R.Joseph, Assistant Professor, explained each doubts asked by the villagers. Dr.Thanuja Thomas, Head, Department of Social Work lead the overall programme. The department conveyed and offered if any villagers need further guidance in this regard can contact to the department and given contact number also. After the programme Mr.Sam Rohit II MSW Student collected the feedback from the villagers.
