Department of Business Administration organised Alumni Guest Lecture on “ Personal growth and self Development for BBA Students on 17.05.2021 @ 11:00am. Ms. Aswathy S Nair, Claim Associate, United Health Care, Bangalore was the resource person. We thank the Management and Principal for their Support and Motivation.
NEFMA (Nehru Future Managers Association) of BBA department conducted marketing Utsav-‘SELLOUTS’20 on 13.02.2020 & 14.02.2020, at Volley Ball Court. Our CEO and Secretary Dr.P.Krishnakumar inaugurated the Marketing Utsav. Dr. B. Anirudhan, Principal, NASC initiated the first sales. Students of various departments of our college visited and purchased the products in the marketing Utsav-‘SELLOUTS’2020. The event Co-ordinators were Ms. M. Sathiya and Ms. T. Sudha. Assistant Professors.
Outcome of the Event:
Students understood the importance of marketing and selling of product. It is part of Entrepreneurial learning.
The Department of Business Administration organized Industrial visit to coorg, Chickmanglore for the III BBA IB students’. Totally 31 students along with two faculty members (Mr.Rajinikanth and Ms.Rubika of Viscom Dept )accompanied with them. The industrial visit was programmed for 5 days . They visited lots of places and they were happy about their travel and accommodation.
Department of Business Administration NEFMA organized a One Day Workshop on “Statistical Tools on SPSS” on 21.08.2019 at C Block Seminar hall.The resource person for the session was Mr. A Prasath Kumar (Assistant Professor, School of Management, Sri Krishna College of Technology).
The interactive session was conducted for the 3rd year BBA department students. The main theme of the workshop was to teach students how to apply Statistical Tools using SPSS
Department of Business Administration NEFMA organized Corporate Interaction on “Effective Usage of Social Media and Employability Skills” on 19.08.2019 at ‘C’ Block Seminar hall. The resource people for the session were Mr. Imran Ahamed, Director, Infinite Edge, and Coimbatore.
The interactive session was conducted for the 2nd year BBA students. The main theme of the Corporate Interaction program was to emphasis on the Effective usage of social media and employability Skills.
Department of Business Administration Organized Association Inauguration (Nehru Future Managers Association) – NEFMA on 09.07.2019 at NIET ‘B’ Block Seminar Hall.
The inauguration function started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dias and followed by the Presidential Address given by Dr.B.Anirudhan, Principal (Nehru Arts and Science College). Mr.Ebin Ephrem Elavathigal, Founder & Explorer,Trip Jodi, Coimbatore gave inaugural address and followed by a talk on ‘Business Strategies for Budding Managers’. Dr.R.Moses Daniel, Principal (Nehru Institute of Information Technology and Management) felicitated the gathering. Dr.Shani, Head– BBA (NASC) introduced the NEFMA Bearers. The badgets were handed over by the dignitaries to the NEFMA bearers and took oath in the presence of them. Mr.Nareshkumar (President – NEFMA) presented the NEFMA action plan report. Ms.Nandhini, Joint Secretary proposed vote of thanks.
BBA Department has organized an industrial visit on 19.07.2019 to “Ogun Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd.” SN Palayam, Coimbatore. III BBA- CA, RM participated in the Industrial Visit under the guidance of Mr .S Krishnakumar and Dr. B Vasanthi.
Ogun Steel Rolling Mills Pvt. Ltd. is a private incorporated on 31 August 2009.It is classified as non government company under Registrar of Companies, Coimbatore. The industry is mainly about manufacture of basic iron and steels and ferroalloy.
A Field Visit was organized on 19.07.2019 to Consumer Expo, Codissia Trade Center Coimbatore for III BBA IB students.
The students had an exposure on Trade field, Stall arrangements, Promotional strategies adopted in all business. A report was submitted on experiential learning.
Department of BBA has conducted an orientation program on CAT examination on11-07-2019. The welcome address was given by the NEFMA Academic Affairs Head Ms.Sruthi.S and Dr. N.Shani HOD of BBA gave the presidential address and the Resource person Mr.Jenovar X.H of Triumphant Institute of Management Education, Coimbatore gave an interactive session on the importance of CAT Exam.
