The Department of Visual Communication organized a Online Adjunct Professor lecture on Photo Journalism on 13.09.2021. Dr. K. Pradeep, HoD i/c, Asst. Prof., Department of Visual Communication welcomed the gathering and the resource person. Mr. Sathish kumar started his lecture on the basic of photo journalism. He shared his 12 years of experience with the students by showing some of his photographs that he captured during his journey as a photojournalist. And he also shared some of the crucial parts of photo journalism. Students also clarified their doubts with the resource person. He asked the students to read much kind of newspapers in different languages to improve the vocabulary and also to know various reporting styles.
Outcome of the event:
Fourth unit of News Reporting was covered for II UG students. Students acquired new contemporary and modern techniques and its relevant context of employability in photo journalism.
