She has been associated with Nehru Arts and Science College as Dean Academic Affairs since 2022. Prior to which she has 16 years of Academic and Administrative experience. In 2006, she started her career as Lecturer in Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore till 2013. In 2013, Joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College till 2015 and promoted as the Head, Department of Computer Applications till 2022. She also visited to United States of America and got exposed to western education provided by Clayton State University, Concordia University, Washington State University and Harvard University and learned the skill based practices incorporated in the Higher Education System in 2019. Her expertise include Technology based teaching process, effective Mentoring and Curriculum formation with the objective of Outcome Based Education. She has held various responsibilities like Head of the department, Chairman Board of studies in Computer Science, Member Academic Council, Institutional Website, Mal-Practice Committee and other Academic committees.
Her area of interest is in the field of Data Mining, Networking and Evolutionary Computing. Her untiring effort and interest in research spans to present various research papers in National and International Conferences. She has published her research work along with case studies at National, International conferences & International Journal and organized research conferences to the benefit of students and faculty community. She is OCJP Certified Professional and completed various On-line courses like NPTEL, Spoken Tutorial that are integrated with Faculty Development Programme. Four Ph.D. Research Scholars are pursuing Research under her guidance.
