The Department of Costume Design and Fashion has organized a 4 days Free Online Workshop on “The Art of Hand Embroidery ” from 22.07.2021 to 26.07.2021for 12 Participants (External participants) and Dr.S.Jayapriya, HoD of CDF & C. Anisha, Assistant Professor of CDF, NASC acted as Resource persons. The workshop demonstrates tools, materials, and different stitches of hand embroidery, their techniques, and their application. It also explained to the students regarding the selection of appropriate needles and thread and identify color combinations as per the given design.
Outcome
The interactive session provides knowledge on basic embroidery stitches and design skills.
