A skill-based workshop on the Mushroom cultivation techniques was conducted by the Microbiology department in the PG Laboratory by Dr.N. Prabhu, Assistant Professor, Biotechnology from Vivekanandha college of Engineering shared his experience in the mushroom cultivation methods used for the large-scale production. The students also interacted with resource person and cleared their queries.
Outcome of the event
Students gained the knowledge on the techniques for the cultivation of mushroom and to generate a revenue out of their skills and emerge as an entrepreneur in developing an own unit of their own.
